Hunt sails through to round two

Adam Hunt cruised through to the second round of the PDC World Championships after defeating
former soft-tip World Champion Boris Krcmar in the opening match of the evening session. An 89
average was enough to see off the Croatian, who struggled to deal with the superb scoring power of
Hunt.

A steady opening set from ‘The Hunter’ gave him an early advantage despite his opponent averaging
nearly ten points above him! The average would be upped in the second session as the 180’s began
to rain for Hunt. Doubling his lead to double-quick fashion.

A fifth maximum for ‘The Hunter’ set him on his way in the deciding leg of the third set, and the deal
would be sealed on tops as Hunt sailed through to the second round, setting up a meeting with
Vincent van der Voort.
