It’s time for more Players Championship action for 4 of our Dunvegan players, as Events 22,23 and 24 take place at the Barnsley Metrodome from 3rd to 5th August.

Gary Anderson comes into this set of Players Championships off the back of a first round defeat at the Betfred World Matchplay against Daryl Gurney. Subsequently the Flying Scotsman comes in two places lower in the World rankings than before, now residing in 8th Spot. Fair to say Gary didn’t have the best of times at the last set of PCs, losing in the first round twice and only progressing to the second round once. He’ll be hoping to re-discover his best form this coming week having shown glimpses throughout the year including some sublime finishing at the Matchplay.

Cameron Menzies had a solid time at the last set of PCs reaching the last 16 on the first and final day. Cammy’s been building towards a real push for a title since his arrival to PDC action after gaining his tour card and he’ll be hoping to go deep into the event on at least one day this week.

Adam Hunt had a disappointing set of PCs by his standards failing to make it past the last 128 stage on any of the 4 days of action. The Hunter will be eager to showcase his ability this coming week.

Jamie Clark reached the Last 32 on two occasions in what was a solid set of PCs for the man from Kennoway. He’ll be keen to build on his form at the Metrodome this week.

As always, we wish all the best to our Dunvegan Dynamos as they compete for the titles on offer and spots on the ETs
