Gary Anderson was defeated by Gerwyn Price on the second night of Premier League action, as the
Welshman repeated the feat of his 2021 World Championship final win, in Liverpool.

Anderson opened up with a sensational 127 checkout on the bullseye and after Price missed a
handful at double two, the Scot cleaned up on double five to make it 2-0.

Price would fight back with two legs on the spin before Anderson clinched the fifth. Two missed ‘big numbers’ would prove costly as Price once again cleaned up on double one to make things all
square.

With Anderson sat on tops, Price would fire home a 156 finish to go ahead for the first time in the
match. Some more scrappy darts from Anderson would allow the Welshman to stretch his lead to
two legs as he went in search of a first win in this year’s Premier League.

The comeback would be completed as Price took out 70 on tops to send Anderson home. ‘The Flying
Scotsman’ will face reigning World Champion Peter Wright on the third night of action next week in Belfast.

Players Championship 3&4 take place in Wigan this weekend where Gary will participate alongside fellow Dunvegan players Adam Hunt, Cammy Menzies and Jamie Clark.
