Gary Anderson continued his sensational form in Milton Keynes as he put in a stunning comeback to see off Scotland World Cup winning teammate Peter Wright on Friday evening at the Marshall Arena.

Wright was the quickest out of the blocks, immediately putting Anderson under pressure as he began to get the ball rolling. Anderson, who has suffered some inconsistencies over the last few nights remained intact, before a crucial break of throw gave Peter Wright some breathing room.

The pivotal break back would come in the ninth leg of the match, the reigning World Champion missing two darts at the outer ring as Anderson punished on double eight to put the match back on throw.

Three legs on the spin from the two-time champion of the world would put Anderson in control of proceedings for the first time in the evening as Wright began to falter.

Missed double chances from Wright were capitalized on as ‘Ando’ claimed a point, which was soonto be two as he completed a stunning comeback to continuing his winning run, storming into the play-off picture.
